Promoting women’s entrepreneurship in Poland

Two projects in Poland focus on supporting women’s success in business. Women’s Act and Women’s Club. Women’s Act strengthens the social, educational, and vocational competencies of young women from underprivileged communities to help them live safer and more prosperous future. It also shapes their entrepreneurial attitudes, and understands their rights as women, citizens, and professionals.

Women’s Clubs on the other hand, provide a venue for young women to freely discuss topics such as career and intellectual development, school work and private-life balance. Alcatel-Lucent employees, who also organized all club meetings, developed the concept.
