Richard Goode
Director of Sustainability, Alcatel-Lucent
As Director of Sustainability, Rich leads the company’s efforts in setting CO2 emissions targets, and creating and implementing climate change programs across all Alcatel-Lucent operations. In addition, Rich integrates sustainability issues into the planning, business processes and decision making functions of the company.
Prior to this position, Rich was the leader of North American multiplexer product management. In this role he was responsible for growing the embedded base of Alcatel-Lucent optical communications portfolio with the company’s largest customers. Prior to working for Alcatel-Lucent, Rich held positions with Nortel Networks, Teradyne and GTE. Rich is also the founder of the Boston-area Sustainability Group.
Rich holds a BS in management from the University of Massachusetts, an MBA from Nichols College and is a graduate of the Presidio School of Management’s Executive Program in Sustainable Management.
