“It’s how we work”: Corporate Responsibility, a business imperative

In 2011 we won the Dow Jones Sustainability Index in our sector.  It was a massive event for us because we want Corporate Responsibility to be a business imperative.  We want it to be part of every aspect of our company.  Every layer of the organization, every function must participate in it all the way to our Board. For 2012, we have a very ambitious program with clear priorities—green, digital inclusion and our people.  These three priorities are truly linked in every single part of our company and in our budget for 2012. I think we have made fantastic progress so far, and there is so much more we can do.  And I believe it must be done by all the people that make Alcatel-Lucent such a fantastic company it is today.
